    You know, I read his memoir Firebird, which I liked so much that — this is a common pattern for me — I haven’t read his poetry, for fear I might not like it. Or for fear I then wouldn’t have the prospect of reading it ahead of me any more? Not sure. Silliness, anyway. Maybe I’ll pick up this book: it looks like a good place to start.

    Dale, I’ll have to add Firebird to my booklist. I think a New and Collected volume is a good place to start.
